Ezio Biography
Formed in 1990 Ezio are Singer/songwriter Ezio Lunedei and guitarist and best friend Booga (Mark Fowell)
Since forming they’ve released many studio and live albums from the critically acclaimed Black Boots on Latin Feet( Arista/Ariola produced by the late Rupert Hine) Diesel Vanilla(MCA Universal produced Peter Van Hooke and Rod Argent) to the most recent release Daylight Moon.
In this time Ezio have toured and performed around the globe gaining a reputation for dynamic and exciting performances delivered with energy, humour and emotional beauty.
Lyrically and melodically Ezio’s songwriting has always been world class as has the guitar virtuosity of Booga.
Mainly as a duo but occasionally as a full band legendary live performances are more common than you’d imagine
Because of this they have sustained a large and loyal international long term following that was built mainly through word of mouth fans returning year after year
The Pandemic provided an opportunity and time to really explore musical possibilities and to craft material in many new ways. It was felt that before moving on with further recordings it would make sense to take stock of the story so far.
Therefore soon we will see the release of a “Best of” album.
With the sheer volume of music produced during this long career it will be no easy task deciding what songs to be included
Of course Ezio will touring The UK ,Germany and wherever else they can.
